Abstract

Project Phoenix LLC is introducing its Independent Electrohydraulic System (IES) to the market after eight years of development. The IES is an intelligent electrohydraulic solution that replaces traditional hydraulic control systems and offers a 15× improvement in efficiency. It features a drive-drive motor design and compact components, with electronics and software integrated into the pump housing. The IES utilizes transverse flux motor technology, which provides high power and precision in hydraulic systems. It also offers built-in redundancy, improved performance, and maintenance capabilities through its closed-loop communication system and data collection capabilities. The IES can be used in various applications, from prosthetics to vehicle braking systems. Project Phoenix plans to debut the IES at the 2023 International Fluid Power Exposition.
