The recovery time of gastrointestinal function, stress state, mental health and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The recovery time of gastrointestinal function in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05). During the operation, the heart rate(HR), systolic blood pressure(SBP) and diastolic blood pressure(DBP) increased in both groups, but the observation group was lower than the control group, with statistically significant difference(P <0.05). After the operation, HR, SBP, and DBP decreased in both groups, and the observation group was lower than the control group, with a statistically significant differences(P <0.05). After intervention, the scores of the Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS) and Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS) in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the scores of all dimensions of the Quality of Life Inventory(QLICP) for cancer patients were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P <0.05).
