Abstract

This article discusses a new technique called "Loop9" for closing mucosal defects after colorectal endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD). The study included 109 lesions in 106 patients who underwent colorectal ESD. The Loop9 method achieved a high success rate of 96.3% for complete closure of the defects, with a median closure time of 15 minutes. The technique was found to be feasible, effective, and cost-effective, eliminating the need for expensive devices or double-channel endoscopes. However, further studies are needed to validate these findings. [Extracted from the article]
