Abstract

This article, published in the journal Endoscopy, presents the findings of a multicenter tandem randomized controlled trial that aimed to evaluate the impact of linked color imaging (LCI) on the proximal adenoma miss rate (pAMR) during routine colonoscopy. The study compared standard colonoscopy with white light imaging (WLI) to colonoscopy with LCI. The primary outcome, pAMR, was not significantly higher in the WLI-first group compared to the LCI-first group. The study concludes that LCI does not provide significant benefits in terms of pAMR during routine colonoscopy. [Extracted from the article]
