Abstract

To analyze the differences of student learning outcomes in statistics courses who studied with the flipped classroom learning model and conventional learning models is the aim of this research. Quasi experimental design with non-equivalent control group design is the research method used in this study. The sample was divided into an experimental and a control class, totaling 73 students. The instrument used in this research is an essay test for statistical material. Quantitative data analysis used to analyze the comparison of learning outcomes in the two sample classes uses the U Mann-Whitney test. Based on the results, students who were given the flipped classroom treatment had better learning outcomes in statistics courses than students who only studied with conventional learning [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
