- The article discusses the diversity within the editorial board of the Journal of Food Science (JFS). While JFS has become an international journal that publishes work from all over the world, the editorial board is still heavily North American. The majority of editors reside in the United States, with limited representation from other regions. The article acknowledges the need for more international representation, particularly from countries that submit the most manuscripts. The article also addresses the ethnic diversity and primary roles of the editors. The goal is to enhance the ethnic diversity of the editorial board and ensure that experts adequately cover all the diverse topics in the field of Food Science and JFS. [Extracted from the article]
