Abstract

A nano-material defected stack based beam splitter is designed in this paper. This beam splitter can split incoming light beam of 1570nm wavelength into two beams of half light intensities. This nano-material stack consists of repetition of three different material layer combination and a defected layer embedded in middle. There is total number of 37 material layers in this nano-material stack including defected layer. We can change the layer parameters to design beam splitter for any other optical wavelength.
