Characterization of tetranucleotide microsatellite markers in guppy (Poecilia reticulata ).

Ten tetranucleotide microsatellite loci are characterized for guppy, Poecilia reticulata, an important model species in the study of adaptation and mating systems. Loci were isolated following a microsatellite enrichment procedure using probe-labelled magnetic beads.
