Abstract
- A new adaptive observer is proposed for a class of uncertain time-delay parabolic systems. The uncertainties are located in both the state equation and the output equation which are also subjected to a distributed delay. Our algorithm is based on backstepping-like transformation and a classical persistent excitation condition. To illustrate the performances of this observer, simulation results are provided.
