Abstract
- The article presents the results of studies of the corrosion resistance of experimental samples made of brass with different types of surface: in the initial state, with a surface-active substance (SAS) adsorbed on the surface, with a relief formed on the surface, with a relief formed on the surface and adsorbed SAS. The formation of the relief on the surface was carried out on the basis of laser action at a radiation energy density from 5 to 800 J/cm2. Corrosion resistance studies were carried out using gravimetric and electrochemical methods. Electrochemical studies were carried out on the basis of measuring the corrosion potential of samples on a potentiated after soaking in a corrosive solution of NaCl - 30 mg/dm3 and Na2SO4 – 70 mg/dm3. It was found that the experimental samples with a superhydrophobic surface (contact angle up to 167°) in terms of corrosion resistance correspond to the samples with the surface in the initial state.
