Abstract

Currently, it is difficult to imagine the modern aircraft industry without the use of composite materials. Rapidly developing polymer composite materials are widely used in the design of the aircraft. They have increased strength, lower weight compared to metals used in the construction of aircraft throughout almost the entire path of aircraft construction. The use of these materials makes it possible to increase the strength of the internal structures of the aircraft, while not increasing the total weight, and even vice versa – it is possible to reduce it, which has an extremely positive effect on the efficiency of the aircraft. The article analyzes and calculates floor panels from various prepregs, using various fibers and aggregates, in order to find the best material that will meet the requirements of price and strength. A three-layer panel using a honeycomb structure was chosen for the design. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
