Abstract
- This article discusses electrochemical micro-turning as a process for material removal based on Faraday's laws. The study explores the relationships between process parameters and technological outcomes such as efficiency, removed allowance thickness, and surface roughness. The research shows that electrochemical turning reduces surface roughness significantly, making it a viable alternative to machining micro-turning. The process offers advantages such as the ability to shape materials regardless of the hardness and zero wear on the tool. It also eliminates workpiece-tool interactions, making it suitable for manufacturing slender or high aspect ratio parts. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
