Flat-pack pendant lamp design of smart bulb in the meeting room: Harmony of tropical office.

Artificial lighting suspended from the ceiling, such as pendant lights or downlights, can be used in the office, particularly in conference rooms. The ambiance of the light color in the meeting room can be changed using an intelligent bulb installed on a pendant lamp. This study aims to create a flat-pack pendant lamp for a smart bulb in a meeting room that incorporates a tropical style. Determining the shape, developing a model using three-dimensional (3D) software, producing a drawing work using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, and testing the product's usability are all steps in the design process. This research employs a single case study in an office for millennials in Malang, Indonesia. The design result of the Flat-pack pendant lamp with a smart bulb installed in the Meeting Room adopts the harmonization of co-working, tropical style, space suitability, user needs, and IoT connectivity technology.
