The article presents the discussion on Norm Smith Publication in Social Work Research Award is awarded to the author or authors of the best research article. Topics include Bruce Lord Award for Excellence in Research Methodology is awarded to the author or authors of the research article that is judged to demonstrate strength; and Norma Parker Award is awarded to an eligible new writer with the best article in an issue of Australian Social Work during the year.
