Abstract

This article discusses the use of virtual reality (VR) software in aiding the precise closure of sinus venosus defects using covered stents without the need for 3D printing. The article explains that complex stenting procedures require precise positioning and expansion of stents, which can be achieved through VR simulations. The case report presented in the article describes the successful closure of a sinus venosus defect using a covered stent, with guidance from computed tomographic images and the VMersive VR platform. The article concludes by acknowledging the introduction of the VMersive platform to the department and stating that there are no competing interests or funding involved. [Extracted from the article]
