Abstract

According to a survey conducted by IDC, one-fifth of organizations plan to use a chatbot assistant other than Microsoft's Copilot within the next two years. Chatbots, which are AI-powered assistants, have become increasingly popular for automating tasks and improving productivity. These chatbots can integrate with enterprise systems like ERP and CRM to automate data-intensive tasks. While Microsoft's Copilot currently dominates the market, other vendors such as Slack, Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, and Cisco are also developing their own chatbot assistants. The survey also revealed that Amazon's CodeWhisperer and Google's Generative AI for Workspaces are popular choices among users. However, Microsoft's Copilot products, including GitHub's variant, are still widely used, particularly for software code production. [Extracted from the article]
