Abstract
- This article examines the use of art, particularly music, in depicting and understanding the migration experience. It focuses on the Mexican band Los Tigres del Norte and their songs that address various aspects of the migrant journey. The band's lyrics capture the emotional and human complexities of migration, shedding light on the challenges faced by migrants and their families. Los Tigres del Norte's music serves as a powerful tool for migrants to express their experiences and for audiences to empathize with their stories. The article highlights the significance of migration art in complementing and surpassing migration scholarship. [Extracted from the article]
