The article presents a case study of an 8-year-old patient with symptoms of malaria and it discusses the infected red blood cells flag (InR) of the Mindray BC 6800 plus. It reports on the identification of malaria-infected red blood cells, which aids in diagnosis, and it mentions the use of rapid malaria testing to detect malaria antigens.
