COMUNICACIÓN ALTERNATIVA Y ESCENAS MUSICALES UNDERGROUND EN ESPAÑA: DE LA RADIO LIBRE Y EL FANZINE AL ENTORNO WEB (1980-2022).

The role of the alternative media in the constitution of independent music scenes has been fundamental for the creation of support, dissemination and promotion networks. This article explores these communicative experiences in depth by analysing, through fanzines and free radio stations, how their relationship with different Spanish music scenes (punk and Jamaican music) developed. With the aim of introducing a historical analysis that traces the depth of these media and their evolution from the past to the present, the adaptation of these media to the new web environment that, since the beginning of the century, has dominated the space of cultural production and consumption has been analysed.
