Abstract

The article deals with blood collection by naturopaths for the production of autologous blood products. It is pointed out that the requirement for a doctor's involvement in blood donation applies to both native autologous blood treatment and treatment with homeopathic and/or non-prescription finished medicinal products. The exception for homeopathic autologous blood products does not apply because they are not produced according to the procedures described in the European Pharmacopoeia or the officially recognized pharmacopoeias of EU member states. It is stated that the clinic does not carry out blood collection under the responsibility of a medical person or using telemedicine procedures. The prohibition of blood collection for the production of autologous blood products is considered lawful. [Extracted from the article]
