A prática profissional do Assistente Social em Instituições de Acolhimento para Crianças e Adolescentes: os deveres éticos-políticos em questão.

The debate on the professional practice of social workers has contributed, in an extensive and profound way, to the development and consolidation of the Social Work profession. In view of this, this article is part of this debate, as it aims to address everyday experiences in sociooccupational spaces linked to institutions for Children and Adolescents in the city of Curitiba and its metropolitan region. The central issue that motivated the research is based on the concern to analyze how the use of norms and laws that underlie the professional practice of social workers in these institutional environments occurs. Supported by the experience of the Guidance and Inspection Commission-COFI of CRESS-PR, the results achieved express that they should be a permanent agenda for study and debate in the daily lives of professionals, during the process of professional practice carried out by social workers that involve working conditions, the following factors: professional relationships established with users, ongoing training in the use of laws that support professional thinking and doing, and the guarantee of professional secrecy.
