Introduction: It has always been important to pay attention to the psychological problems of spouses of self-sacrificing families due to their specific risks. The teachings of Islam provide a practical and efficient framework that can help improve marital relations. Objective: The study aimed to assess the impact of communication skills with an emphasis on the teachings of Islam on Positive psychological states and marital satisfaction in wives of veterans in Zahedan. Material and Methods: The research method was quasi-experimental with pre-test and post-test with control group. The study focused on the wives of veterans in Zahedan in 2022. Thirty individuals meeting the inclusion criteria were chosen through voluntary sampling and randomly assigned to experimental and control groups. Data collection tools included the Enrich marital satisfaction scale (Olson et al.) and positive psychological states (Rajaei et al). The experimental group received training in communication skills with an emphasis on Islamic teachings, delivered twice weekly over eight 1.5-hour sessions, while the control group did not receive training. Data analysis utilized chisquare and multivariate analysis of covariance in SPSS26 statistical software. Results: The results showed that there was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of age, education and employment demographic variables (P<0.05). Other results showed that teaching communication skills with an emphasis on the teachings of Islam increased the scores of positive psychological states (P<0.001, F=73.804; Mper=256.99 and Mpost=90.337) and life satisfaction (P<0.001, F=49/934; Mper=101/07 and Mpost=129/52) was effective for wives of self-sacrificing families. Conclusion: Conclusion: Training in communication skills, with a focus on the teachings of Islam, should be utilized as an effective intervention to enhance positive psychological well-being and life satisfaction in wives of self-sacrificing families.
