Abstract

The article discusses a study conducted by researchers K. Prathyusha and A. J. Solomon Raju to map malaria risk zones to tackle the prevalence of malaria in Paderu, Andhra Pradesh. By layering various data sources including topography, vegetation index, water bodies, and climate data, they identified key factors influencing malaria transmission. Their spatial analysis identified eight out of twelve mandals as malaria-prone areas with a new method showing higher accuracy.
