Abstract

An interview with musician-artist-playwright Terry Allen is presented. When asked about his inspiration for his musical work, he refers to the sound coming from a barn was more inspirational than Jerry Lee Lewis or Little Richard, whom he also admire tremendously. It states that the essence of the West in present in his work, blending darkness and humor in narratives that resonate deeply, while maintaining a humble and lighthearted approach to his craft.
