Abstract
- This letter quantifies the phases by Rietveld refinement of perovskite relaxor ferroelectric ceramics of lanthanum-modified lead titanate zirconate (PLZT 9/65/35) as a function of temperature. The refinement results show the relative limit of phases between the polar electrical percolation and their vanishing as a function of temperature, coincident with dielectric measurements. The quantification of polar/nonpolar phases simultaneously is structural description of the polar clusters in relaxor ferroelectrics ceramics. The temperature changes in the polar/nonpolar phase ratio suggest a volume dynamism of the polar clusters as a function of temperature. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
