Abstract

The article provides information on the prospects of geothermal energy, in particular, its use for heating residential and industrial premises and greenhouses, as well as for generating electricity. The advantages and disadvantages of geothermal energy are shown. Geothermal wells release hazardous gases and minerals that lead to reducing the service life of equipment due to deposits of chemicals, the control of the composition and content of which greatly facilitates the development and search for new sources of mineral raw materials. Suggested a device for monitoring the composition, state and content of hazardous gases emitted by a geothermal well, which greatly facilitates the development and search for new sources of geothermal waters.
