Abstract

This paper aims to explore the application of cloud computing image system based on optical communication in museum virtual reality (VR) design. In the context of the gradual maturity of the current technology, the use of optical technology and cloud computing can provide a more realistic and immersive experience for the museum's VR display. This study summarizes the principle and technology of cloud computing image system based on optical communication, and elaborates the specific application method of cloud computing image system based on optical communication in this scene by constructing an application scene of VR exhibition in a museum. Based on museum exhibits, through high-resolution image transmission and real-time image processing, in the virtual reality environment, the audience can feel the cultural charm of the museum. The experimental results show that the application of cloud computing image system based on optical communication in museum VR design can greatly improve the audience's participation and experience. Through the use of optical transmission and cloud computing technologies, high-quality image transmission and processing can be achieved, making the viewer feel a more realistic and lifelike virtual environment.
