Abstract
- Muhammad Ali Park, located in Detroit, is a community space named after the famous Muslim and African American boxer and activist Muhammad Ali. The park was funded through grants from the county, the Embassy of Qatar, and community members. The Islamic Center of Detroit, which proposed the park, aims to serve the Detroit community and strengthen its relationship with Qatar. The Center offers various programs and services, including mental health support and substance abuse prevention. They are also working on a project to transform an old school into a health clinic. The Center's goal is to improve the lives of people in the community and they encourage the Arab Muslim community to explore different resources and opportunities. [Extracted from the article]
