Análisis socioestilístico del discurso de políticos andaluces durante sus intervenciones públicas en Madrid.

This research introduces a sociolinguistic study about a linguistic variation applied in diverse public contexts concerning performance of the following Andalusian politicians in Madrid: Juan Manuel Moreno, Susana Díaz, José Guirao and María Jesús Montero. Some linguistic and extralinguistic factors which characterize their political speech within public performance in the capital city of Spain, are represented here. On one hand, several linguistic changes that arose in the abovementioned cases will be observed, in particular, when they come into contact with standard Spanish. On the other hand, some speech acts performed by the same politicians in Andalusia will also be investigated in order to study their linguistic behavior in both contexts. Our results prove that various linguistic variations do actually occur during their discourses due to dissimilar public contexts. Nevertheless, the regional variant, particularly of Spanish spoken in Andalusia, is still the prevailing one. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
