It is a known fact that interdisciplinary studies were valued in the past as well as today in the scientific world. As a matter of fact, the dimension of the relationship between Islamic law and Sufi sciences makes the books written by combining these disciplines more valuable. al-Ghazalı's al-Ihyâ and al-Sha'rani's work called al-Mizcin al-Kubra are examples of books written in this manner. In Şa'id b. Ahmad b. Abı Bakr al-Razi al-HanafTs work entitled al-Jam' Bayna al-Fatwa wa al-Taqwâ fî Mühimmat al-Din wa al-Dunya, the relationship between law and morality was compiled under the concepts of al-taqwa (piety), al-fatwa. On the other hand, the fact that it was published as early as the sixth century AD further increases the value of the work. The work, of which there is only one copy in the world in the Kastamonu Manuscripts Library with registration number 935, was researched and published by Mehmet Sadi Çögenli, Mustafa Kılıçlı, and 'Id Fathi 'Abd al-Latif. We will criticize this book published by al-Irshad Publishing House in its original form. In this critique, which we will do to introduce the book to the scientific world, it would be appropriate to make a few evaluations regarding the investigation made while examining the book.
