Lung cancer: organisation of care.

The article presents some papers related to primary to secondary care in possible lung cancer. The study investigates the practice patterns of general practitioners (GPs) when confronted with patients whose symptoms may be caused by lung cancer. This was a questionnaire based study. All GPs within the North Central Cancer Network area were asked to complete a questionnaire that contained three short structured clinical scenarios. Each had been designed to allow GPs to exercise their own judgment at time points within a case history that ran over several weeks.
