Abstract

Data analysis is one of the most important tools that can contribute to unveiling critical relationships. Econometric approaches are evolving continuously, while older methods although are not completely abandoned, they may be used vis-à-vis the new ones for comparison purposed. This special issue has called for papers that have used novel research methods in a panel data framework for the studying and modelling renewable energy use and management. This special issue is useful for readers because it provides them an overview of the those novel methodologies employed in the field of renewable energy economics and econometrics.
