Abstract

The article focuses on addressing ethical concerns related to the potential use of personalized large language models (LLMs) for academic idea and prose generation. Concerns raised include issues of bias, conformity, lowered standards, and the potential negative effects on academic publishing. It authors advocate for a co-creation model where humans play a role in crafting, curating, and communicating the material generated by LLMs to ensure responsible use.
