Abstract

KRYTAR has recently released a new family of monopulse comparators that enable beamforming in multiple microwave bands from 0.5 to 40 GHz. These devices are beamforming networks that use hybrid couplers to control the direction of radio transmission beams. They are well-suited for applications such as antenna array beamforming, radar searching and tracking, and multipath simulation. The devices have specifications including bandwidth, phase and amplitude imbalance, isolation, insertion loss, VSWR, and power rating. The new family of comparators consists of high-performance 180° hybrid couplers and comes in a compact package with coaxial connectors. [Extracted from the article]
