Abstract

This article explores the perceptions of quality of life (QOL) while working from home in the United Kingdom during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study found that most participants experienced increased QOL due to more time with family, a comfortable work environment, and less commuting. However, social isolation was cited as a significant issue affecting QOL. The article suggests that stakeholders should develop social support networks and effective planning initiatives to promote QOL and work-life balance for remote workers in the UK.
