Abstract
- This article discusses a rare case of primary cutaneous histoplasmosis in a 43-year-old man. The patient presented with multiple red-colored skin lesions on his face that had been progressively increasing in size and number over a period of two years. The lesions were non-itchy and painless, and the patient did not have any other systemic symptoms. Dermoscopy revealed distinctive features such as yellowish-orange areas, linear vessels, arborizing telangiectasias, and perifollicular casts. Biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of histoplasmosis. The article highlights the importance of dermoscopy in diagnosing and managing this rare disease. [Extracted from the article]
