Mulheres em luta e a educação de crianças pequenas em uma ocupação urbana: perspectivas anticoloniais.

Based on the theoretical fields of anti-colonial perspectives and childhood studies, this article is based on testimonies of women educators who live in an urban occupation in Belo Horizonte and investigates the relationship between the struggle for housing and Early Childhood Education rights. Therefore, we analyze data produced in doctoral research within a community day care center in this territory. The results point to: the crossings between feminist struggle and women's role in claiming for children's rights; the singularity present in the provision of Early Childhood Education in the context of an urban occupation; and the relevance of anti-colonial lenses to understand the processes of claiming for children's and women's rights in an urban social movement.
