Abstract
- Hematoma of corpus callosum is a very rare phenomenon and is caused by severe trauma to head. Most common traumatic injury to corpus callosum is seen in diffuse axonal injury in form of small hemorrhagic foci and associated prolonged unconsciousness. Trivial trauma causing well defined corpus callosal hematoma in absence of coagulation defects or neurological deficits in conscious patient has not been reported in the literature. We present such a unique case and the review the corpus callosal hematoma due to trauma. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
