Modernidad, educación y valores.

In this work we make an approximation to Modernity or Enlightenment. We maintain that the enlightened project is a value that must be claimed and promoted through education. Similarly, we present some of its most characteristic features: centrality of reason, anthropocentrism, science and technology and emphasis on democracy and universal ethics. Finally, we make a critical assessment of Modernity. We highlight the elements that need to be promoted through university education and those that need to be toned down. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
