Abstract

In the current investigation, pulsed laser deposition was used to prepare zinc oxide: multiwall carbon nanotube (ZnO: MWCNT) nanocomposite films with a 15 weight percent MWCNT concentration on clean glass substrates. Investigations were done on the antibacterial properties of MWCNT concentration in wastewater. To keep track of how the created nanocomposite materials were doing, various strategies were employed. The synthesis of ZnO: MWCNT is confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) research through absorption bands at various wave numbers for stretching and bending modes. The prepared nanofilms are a strong candidate for a wide range of applications due to this sort of behavior. From FTIR analysis, it can be seen that fabricated samples have a variety of bands. This work demonstrated the potential use of ZnO: 15 wt percent MWCNTs nanocomposites application as an antimicrobial material for wastewater. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
