Flexural behaviour of various construction joints for different ages reinforced concrete beams.

This paper investigates behaviour of beam that has construction joints of two concrete's age, half part considered as old concrete and the other half is a new part. Four types beams with three shapes of construction joints (45°, 60° and L shape) were used in this study. The results gave an indication that the spacemen with joint inclined 45° is the best way to consider the construction joint within the beam. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
