Abstract

Impact resistance was the primary goal of preparing a review; thus, it is recommended to do an extensive study to improve the concrete properties, especially from industrial waste materials such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET) fibers. It has shown that nanomaterials have already an ability to treat and strengthen the bond traction between fibers and cement paste by accelerating the hydration reactions at an early age, then consuming the calcium hydrate (CH) and increased the calcium silicate hydrate (C-S-H) which it represents the responsible about the bonding and bridging action. One of the essential qualities of concrete is its impact resistance. Furthermore, combining Nanomaterials and fibers demonstrates how to effect tangible characteristics change. The current state of Nano-materials and Fiber in Concrete is summarized in this brief review. It has been reviewed all studies from 2010-2022. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
