COVID-19: políticas públicas y desigualdad social. Desafíos de las nuevas tecnologías durante las campañas de vacunación.

States and the social and computer sciences face new realities that question traditional communication strategies with citizens. The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated this process in Argentina. A qualitative analysis of networks, media, and personal contacts in two subnational states (the Autonomous City of Buenos and the Province of Buenos Aires) found that the social capital of each person made visible the speed of access to inoculation. The wide dissemination of new technologies (online platforms and mobile phone applications) masked the unequal conditions of access of the population to these tools. Faced with this challenge, the tools implemented during the dissemination and vaccination campaign against COVID-19 deepened the problem instead of becoming a solution. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
