In recent years, the Spanish National Markets and Competition Commission has increasingly applied article 3 of the Spanish Competition Law to investigate, initiate and even sanction allegedly anti-competitive practices by companies in Spain. Among the proceedings initiated, two of them are particularly interesting. While AUDAX Renovables is the most recent decision that sanctioned the investigated companies, Préstamos ICO Covid is the most recent decision that closed the proceedings because the court deemed that no infringement had been committed.
