Genç Neslin Turizm Etkinliklerini Değerlendirmesi: Şeb-i Arus Törenleri Örneği.

Şeb-i Arus ceremonies are an important tourism event attended by thousands of local and foreign tourists every year and followed by local, national and international press. With this event, the number of tourists coming to the region increases, and therefore the region is affected by a number of social, economic, cultural and environmental factors. The aim of the study is to evaluate the social, economic, cultural, environmental and total impact of Şeb-i Arus ceremonies especially through the perceptions of the younger generation. As a result of this evaluation, it is aimed to determine whether young generation support tourism activities specifically for the event. This study is important as it aims to evaluate the tourism support of the young generation specifically for Şeb-i Arus ceremonies. The study was conducted according to the quantitative research approach and the survey technique was used to collect data. In this context, 831 participant living in Konya Province were reached. Descriptive statistics, validity and reliability analysis, explanatory factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis were performed in the study. As a result of the analysis, it was concluded that the economic, environmental and cultural impact of tourism positively affects the total impact, and the total impact positively affects the tourism support of the young generation.
