Abstract

The article presents a review of the "Manual de Filosofía del Derecho" (Manual of Philosophy of Law) by Thomas Casadei and Gianfrancesco Zanetti, translated by Fernando H. Llano Alonso. The manual seeks to adapt to current cultural and educational changes, offering a more accessible language and relevant topics such as cultural studies and the history of legal thought. The authors also refer to the importance of legal philosophy in secondary education and social networks. The manual is structured into 40 sections and addresses topics such as inequality, violence, colonialism, and feminism, among others. Additionally, the influence of the Italian tradition in the work is highlighted, with references to authors such as Cicero, Saint Augustine, and Dante. The author of the article thanks Thomas Casadei and Gianfrancesco Zanetti for writing a manual adapted to current students, and Fernando Llano for translating it and making it available to the Spanish-speaking scholarly community. The article was published in the journal "Derechos y Libertades" (Rights and Freedoms) and was written by Rafael Ramis Barceló from the Universitat de les Illes Balears - IEHM.
