Abstract

Stricter environmental protection measures are being enacted with the aim of reducing carbon emissions as public awareness of climate change rises. Renewable resources are created as a result. In this work, Polylactic acid (PLA) is used as a matrix for the fabrication of hybrid composites for sustainability, and jute and sisal fibres are used as reinforcement materials. This paper has been presented for the replacement of harmful synthetics and plastics. The strength of hybrid compound material is enhanced. The composite containing continuous banana and sisal fibers is fabricated by hybridization, loading sequence, and alignment of unidirectional continuous fibers by PLA as it is biodegradable plastic used for binding. The composite is made by using the technique sandwich (PLA-raw fibers-PLA). Fabrication is technically done by using manual hydraulic compression molding method. The maximum tensile and flexural strength of 80Mpa and 93.4 MPa was obtained [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
