Abstract

The eye is a globular organ that senses light so that living things can see. The visual system starts with this component. Eye diseases like cataract and glaucoma are affect the human eye and which cause vision loss. In cataracts, the visible area of the eye is clouded, resulting in poor vision, while glaucoma affects and results in total blindness, it is brought on by pressure in the optic nerve, which sends electrical pulses to the brain. Here we introduce detection of eye diseases using ML. Here without going to hospitals without the help of the expert anyone can check their eye to examine weather they have cataract or glaucoma. We trained our system using cataract and glaucoma data, and here we utilize GLCM to extract features of the eye to be examined, and additional processing is done using machine learning, with the output displayed in MATLAB.
