Scrittura, vita e parola: ripensare l'omelia alla scuola di Carlo Maria Martini.

The ministry and the reflection of Carlo Maria Martini have undoubtedly found a turning point in the detailed study of Sacred Scripture and in the proclamation of the word of God: first as a scholar and professor of exegesis and, in the second season of his life, as archbishop of Milan, the Jesuit Martini always lived an intense and fruitful relationship with the One who, in sacred texts and in ecclesial preaching, «speaks to men as to friends» (DV 2), pointing to the recognition and to the listening of His voice as a priority guideline of all his reflections and pastoral action. Therefore, trying to clear up the virtuous circle between Scripture, life and word emerging from the experience and the writings by Martini, this contribution aims to provide to the homilist of our time, who is entrusted with this announcement in the liturgical celebration, three directions based on the proposal of the Milanese cardinal and biblical scholar.
