Abstract

The surface tension, wetting emulsification time and salt thickening effect of the mixed solution were tested after the compounding of sodium fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfate (AES) and sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate (LAS). The results showed that the surface properties of the mixed solution were most suitable for multi-system use when AES accounted for about 20% of the total active content; the viscosity of the AES/LAS mixed solution was significantly enhanced in the presence of NaCl.
